Baby stuff

As you may or may not know, we are watching our grandchild through the week. I say WE, because it takes a team of highly trained individuals to care for the little tyke. He needs undivided attention from around three to four adults at all times. hmmmmmmmmm. Or does he? I believe we have been bamboozled by a two month old.
Well, he is really a pretty good kid to watch. He is fairly durable as far as being able to hold him without feeling like he is going to break. He weighs in at nearly 15pounds at 9 weeks.
That brings us to the deli ma of trying to carry him in a car seat. Back when I was a kid they had these cute little carry-all type things you could carry a child in. Now, everything you put them in has 10 layers of padding, and armoured base. They look like an astronaut getting ready to blast off by the time you get them strapped in. I can see why they call it a car seat. It weighs as much as the bench seat from my old ford truck. But, somehow I have managed the art of carrying this apparatus around. Mostly, I unstrap him and carry him in where ever we are going.
Selecting diapers isn't that bad. I mean, not much worse than selecting a sanitary pad. They've got slim, wide, super absorbent, wings, overnight, sensitive skin, and close cover before striking. oh
facts of note: It takes one box of huggies wipes per 40 diapers.
Johnson and Johnson no longer makes "Baby Cream"
Pumped breast milk does not stay fresh under the truck seat, in 80 degree weather.
Sometimes their poo is green. nuff said!
particle , dust masks do not filter the smell of a dirty diaper.

I have run out of time this morning...... to be contiued.

What an adorable, innocent little dumpling!! That face should be on the cover of.... something.
HE wouldn't stink; it's not possible!
I was wondering; do you have to hire a federal inspector to watch over your every move? USDA man for breast milk temperature check? Aeronautical engineer to oversee the car seat installation?
Thanks for the morning giggle!
