chipper

This is "Chipper" one of the horses I am training. He is owned by my friend Shelley. Together we hope to get this horse back racing. He had a suspensiory injury (ligament on lower right hind leg). He is such a gentle giant. However, he is accident prone. Yes, a horse that is accident prone. Kind of a "Baby Huey".

Well, a couple of days ago Chipper being the ever curious type, was goofing around with a bucket I had tied to the fence. While he was flipping it around with his mouth we think he got the twine wrapped around his lower incisors and jerked back to get away from it. When he did he broke the lower bone in his jaw and caused two teeth to protrude! It looks ........ "icky".
I will post pictures of his teeth a little later, as I have run out of time and patience waiting to load them now. ha ha
