Most you may have heard about Kim and myself going to the McCain rally in Lancaster last week. We had a great time. We agreed before we left it was just going to be kind of an impromptu thing. No worrying about waiting in line to get in or anything.
Well, we arrived at OU Lancaster around 4 o'clock , and got parked relatively close to the action. We waited in line for maybe 45 minutes. Then we got to the part where we had to go through the metal detector. They made me leave my sign at the gate. No signs allowed. All those homemade signs you see are not really homemade. They are made by the campaign people. hmmmmmm.
Just as we were making our way to a good spot to stand, one of the P.R. people came over and asked us if we wanted to stand next to the stage. ( I figured it was because we were a couple of pretty hot looking gals, and they needed to dress the place up a little.)
It was now around 5pm or so, and we were nestled along the gate that protects the crowd from getting to the speakers. We were among quite a few students from OU, positioned behind the speaker. As the crowd began to file in, it filled up very quickly behind us. Now, we only had about one square foot of ground to stand on and you dare not move, or you would lose your spot. We were not about to lose our spot. Then came these people who brought a herd of children including the "triplets". They crowed up behind us and began their plan to uproot Kim and myself from our prime
ground. Me in my hot pink jacket in hopes of spotting us on tv or in a photo. The kids behind us proceeded to poke and push and crowd, and the parents muttered about how they thought us adults should move aside so the children could see better. Ha, thought Kim and I. We certainly didnt want to be mean to kids, but gee whiz. We had been standing there for an hour already waiting. They complained over and over how they had dressed the "triplets" just so they could be seen.
To be continued......

Snotty nosed little brats! They crowded us so tight we didn't even have room to groove to the music. We tried though. So what if they got their little toes stepped on and got their snotty little faces bumped a bit in the process? We were there first!!! Tell them about what happened at the very end..............
I sure hope there is something in there about the triplets being hurled onto the stage lol! They wanted them seen after all.
I can just *see* the action. Can't wait for the rest of the story. Did Kim douse the little darlings with Lysol?? You shoulda said, "Triplets? So what, WE are TWINS! And a pair of queens beats 3 singles everytime." (although i think 3 is better than 2, isn't it? who cares, we can change the rules if we want!)
