Yep. Its been that long. I thought I should run a test of the emergency blog-system.
To fill you in on the Ritz Tracker. Its been up and down the last month. After his last win he moved up to the higher class race. Well, it didnt fill (not enough horses entered it). So, I thought well, he could use a week off. Then the following Monday he spikes a fever! EEEEK. Just a runny nose and such. So, I couldnt enter him that week. The next week I entered him, he drew the nine hole, and his driver wasnt going to be there. So, he raced terrible. For some reason the driver didnt get a long with him. He made a break and finished last.
The next week we had our regular guy back and he finished second. yeah.
Last week I entered him in a race that cost me 300 dollars to enter. Thinking that I would at least be guaranteed to race four weeks in a row. (four legs at 7,500 dollars and a final for the high point winners for 15,000.) Well, he finished fourth in the first leg. I was very pleased, especially since it looked like a couple of them were not handling the race very well.
I entered this week and guess what? Only 4 of us entered, and they must have at least 6 entries to hold a race. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
So, here we sit waiting to try again next week. I suppose I could have hauled somewhere else besides Scioto Downs, but, I just dont want to gamble on it. (gas money, license, help. etc.)

Do you get any $$ back since there weren't enough to race? When do you race? I won't bother you just wanna come watch from the stands..
