Ritz update

Ritz Tracker made me pretty proud last week when he trotted faster than he had ever trotted and picked up fourth place money. But,,,, this week he won again! Hooray!
He has been such a trooper lately. I believe he finally, at six years old has got the drift of what is expected of him. (also, you have to understand, I work with the learning impaired out here). The driver is awesome. He gets along so well with Ritzy. And has really given him a chance to shine out there.
Ruthie is getting a break as I dont push two year olds to race. Only if it comes real easy for them. She trots great, but she is very growthy filly. She is about 4 inches taller than Ritz. You could drive a truck through her front legs. So, I will pick back up on her in the fall, and see how it goes.

"Cody the Kid" is enjoying his days at the farm. I put a little tykes swing in the barn for him. Just hung it from the rafters. That way he can supervise all I am doing. I saw on tv that the "in" thing is to bath the baby in a bucket type thingy. Its supposed to be liken to being in the womb. So, rather than to buy the one on tv, I bought a mop pail and put Cody in it. He did like it. He even peed in it!
Ah, I have it timed pretty good that Cody and I take the afternoon nap at the same time. He is a good little nap buddy. Thanks to his Mom who has been sleeping with him. hee hee.

About fried food: I realized last evening (eating at Apple bees) that the reason why I dont like fried stuff that much, is because I dissect it. I think you are supposed to swallow it whole. We got the 2 for twenty deal with onion rings. I always try to cut the onion ring in little pieces, but, the onion always slides out of the breading. The same thing with fish. And mushrooms .... well there is no way to cut one of them up. Just pop it in your mouth and let the grease burst from it.
