Howdy
I have been busy as you all have been. We hooked Ruthie (the yearling filly) to the cart this week. She was a good girl. I have jogged her six days now. She is going about two miles a day.
She actually enjoys it, which is the way we like them to feel.
Ritzy has had a fifth and a fourth in the last two weeks. He is racing very well. I would like to be a little closer to a win, but he is making money at least. (they pay up to fifth place)
My daughter informed last Sunday that I am going to be a grandma. eeeeeekkkkkkkk! I think I am ready for this because, I catch myself looking at other grandmothers enjoying their grandkids and it looks like fun......Sometimes.....

We took the neighbor girl to a horse show last Saturday. She rode my husbands horse (which is a barrel racer). She rode the horse in the pleasure classes. Well , we were very proud of both the horse and her, because this horse has never been in a show where he isn't suppose to run to the max. He behaved very well, and she handled the horse exactly as you should. She took two seconds and two nothings out of four events she entered. Plus made $60.00 prize money!

A. No! Because every time I get ready to shoot bees, it dribbles out the end straight to the ground, and I get attacked.
Q. Does the frontline work on your dogs?
A. NO! I spent hundreds of dollars last year, only to see the fleas gathered around the frontline wading and dancing.
Q. Does your husband go to the store with you?
A. Yes, he stays in the truck while I go in and shop. But not to worry, I leave the windows part way down, so he doesn't get hot.
Q. What compliment from your husband is most memorable.
A. It was when I made homemade macaroni and cheese. He said "This shit is good! Don't make that crap from a box anymore."
