poo

I saw a family of deer in the field yesterday. So, I thought I would take a picture of them. Did you ever get the feeling you were being dumped on?

I remember one time many years ago my mother was in the yard talking to some people we trained horses for, and while in the midst of this serious conversation, one of the peacocks (roosting in the tree above them) pooed on Mother. It splattered all over her shoulder and arm. She hardly paused and continued the conversation. The people she was talking to, could barely contain themselves. They told me later, they were afraid to laugh at the time.

Remember the book "Spot on the wall" by Who Flung Dung.
Thats all I have to say about poo this morning.

What about Winnie the Pooh? He's a nice *Poo*. Now, peacock poo, that's a different story. And how did you get that close to that deer? I can never get them to *poose* for me!!

I could just see your mother; she'd glance at her shoulder, take a breath and continue on!
That is a WONDERFUL picture!! I love it!! Nature at it's best.

My grandmother always talked about her neighbors, Lucy Bowels and her sister, Carrie Potts.
